Caroline Rees is an architectural glass artist specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of sandblasted glass.

The critical element of a successful piece of architectural sandblasted glass lies in the interplay between transparent, translucent and reflective surfaces, and without colour the emphasis is focused on drawing, composition and the quality of line.

By combining traditional techniques with contemporary design and processes, artwork is created which brings a narrative dimension to the play of light and shadow, relating to the physical characteristics and location of the site.

Each commission undertaken elicits an individual response and is created in collaboration with the client in relation to it's function, location and surroundings.

Work is available to commission for interior and architectural projects for both public and private clients.
