Trained in Textiles, Caroline Rees has designed for studios in Europe and America. Her distinctive style has been applied to many products, but it is in the last 10 years that she has acquired a reputation for her use of architectural glass as a decorative surface.
The traditional process of sandblasting is employed in an unconventional manner, creating glass which combines design, craftsmanship, beauty and function.
From 2002 until 2007, having exhibited her work extensively around the UK, she ran CELF gallery in Mumbles with Michelle Scragg. Together they designed a range of textiles which have been marketed for furnishings.
Following success at 100% Design, London in 2008, she has committed to exhibit there again in 2009.
Caroline's experience, craftsmanship and attention to detail results in a unique and functional glazing solution. She is absolutely dedicated to delivering a personal bespoke service, tailored to your exact requirements.
